Korean Bulgogi

Bulgogi is a Korean dish which is made from thin slices of beef sirlion or other prime cuts of beef. Before cooking the meat is marinated to enhance its flavour and tenderness, with a mixture of soy sauce, sugar, sesami oil, sesami seeds, garlic, ground pepper and green onions. Bulgogi is traditionally grilled, but pan-cooking is what i did.




Ingredients:

1 1/2 lbs. beef sirlion or any beef
1 big white onion
1 carrot medium size slice in stripes
6 tbsp. soy sauce
3 tbsp. sesami oil
3 tbsp. white sugar
3 tbsp. pear juice
3 tbsp. or 2 stems of green onions or scallions
1 tbsp. sesami seeds
1 tbsp. minced garlic
1/4 tsp. ground pepper
pinch of ginger powder

Marinade Procedure:
1. Combine all the ingredients except for beef, carrots and onions. Stir until well incorporated.
2. In a large bowl, combine the beef, carrot, onions then add the liquid mixture. Mix well then cover with the sealing wrap then let it sit in the fridge overnight. The next day.......

How to cook:
1. Heat the pan,  pour a small amout of oil or without oil.
2. Once the pan is hot, fry the marinated bulgogi until the meat is well done.
